The deaconesses assist the pastor in developing the spiritual growth of the women of the church. The deaconesses cooperate with the pastor and deacons in visiting members; in the care of the sick, needy and distressed; and with the observances of the church ordinances (communion and baptism).
Our Deaconesses are:
- Deaconess Rosa Noel joined Little Rock Baptist Church in 1992 and is one of the charter members who diligently works for the Lord. She is the President of the Deaconess Ministry and has served the Body of Christ in the capacity as a First Lady, Youth Sunday School Teacher, Usher, and Women's Ministry leader. She was active in the "Women on the Move for Christ Ministry" to aide in the spiritual growth of the young women at the church and is one that gives her best wherever she can be a blessing to God's people and for His Kingdom.

- Deaconess Karon Brown joined Little Rock Baptist Church in 1992 leaving in 1998 and returned back to Little Rock in January 2008 with her entire family. She is an active and faithful member having completed all required classes to become a member. Deaconess Brown is currently on the Praise Team and occasionally helps with the youth Sunday school class; she also has been a reliable Vacation Bible School teacher.

- Deaconess Mae Linda Johnson joined Little Rock Baptist Church in 2004 and serves as the President of the Culinary Committee, active in the Women's Ministry, sings on the Vessels of Honor Praise and Worship Ministry, and sings on the Mass and Adult Choirs. She is also a member of the Hospitality/Benevolent Ministry.

- Deaconess Pathenia Wiggins joined Little Rock Baptist Church in 1994 and has served as leader of the Women Ministry, Sunday School Teacher, Vacation Bible School Teacher, member of the Deaconess Ministry, member of the Official Board, and a member of the Adult Choir.

Announcements:
- The Deaconess Consecration Program was held on October 4, 2009. The Deaconess is Consecrated for service in the context of the church's mission to proclaim God's Gospel and to perform specific functions on behalf of the church.
